Hillside Community Church is to be a "helping hands ministry" a beacon of hope and light in our community. We strive to create a place where people can find belonging, experience spiritual growth, and discover their purpose. Our vision is to be a catalyst for positive change, spreading love and compassion to every corner of our community. We love our seniors and we love our youth!
OUR PASTOR
Pastor James Hannah is a retired Corrections Officer who spent 16 1/2 years with the New York City Department of Corrections. Pastor Hannah was ordained in 2007 under the leadership of Pastor Tommy Collins at the Clothing of Power Eternal Church.
Following retirement, Pastor Hannah continued to pursue his calling in ministry and completed an accredited program at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC. to become a Chaplain in 2017. In 2017, Pastor Hannah founded Hillside Community Church (HCC) which is located at the Casey Center at 810 South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg, MD.
The church partnered with Manna Food for several years providing groceries to seniors on a monthly basis. Currently, Pastor Hannah is continuing his pastoral education through courses under the tutelage of Dr. Tony Evans.

Our Mission, is to we spread love and kindness to people of all ages. Our mission is to make positive impact on the lives of children young adults, and, and YES, ADULTS of ALL AGES by providing them with the support they need. We believe everyone deserves to feel loved and valued.

Our Vision, to provide a LIVE 24/7 relief hotline, where we can provide immediate help and support to anyone in need. The goal is to work closely with the available community resources providing information to help enhance the lives of those in need and introduce the power salvation through Jesus Christ guiding people towards a better life.
